Joey Weissman Tops PGT Leaderboard Following PokerGO Cup
The 2025 PokerGO Cup has crowned its newest champion, with Joey Weissman topping the leaderboard to win the PokerGO Cup trophy and a $25,000 PGT Passport.
Weissman follows in the footsteps of Jonathan Little (2024), Cary Katz (2023), Jeremy Ausmus (2022), and Daniel Negreanu (2021), who were previous PokerGO Cup champions. Weissman put on a dominating performance throughout the series, having finished runner-up in three events while winning Event #2 for $295,000.
According to The Hendon Mob, Weissman has amassed more than $8,521,000 in lifetime tournament earnings and now sits 99th on the United States All-Time Money List. At the PokerGO Cup, Weissman earned $930,600 in prize money from his four cashes. Weissman now has four career PGT titles, along with 19 final tables and 29 cashes. He has $3,131,999 in career PGT earnings.

After a short break following PGT Kickoff, the No-Limit Hold'em players were back to battle on the first PGT Major series of the season. Michael Moncek won his first PGT title in Event #1, while Adam Hendrix won his sixth career PGT title in Event #3, which was the largest field for a $10k buy-in in PGT owned-and-operated history.
Eric Blair won Event #4 and Event #6, while Spaniard Sergio Aido collected his third career PGT title. Kristen Foxen won the penultimate event of PokerGO Cup for her third career PGT title, while Justin Zaki also won his third career PGT title in the series finale.
