Thursday’s final “Voices Carry” lineup of Poker After Dark returned to PokerGO from the ARIA Resort & Casino with another $25,000 winner-take-all Sit & Go. Jason Koon looked for redemption from Wednesday night’s early exit and had five new players at the PAD felt. But after a sick beat Koon bowed in third and heads-up came down to Liv Boeree and Hollywood producer Randall Emmett.

Boeree won her first PAD title and $150,000. “It’s amazing, a great feeling,” Boeree said. “It feels wonderful.”
Igor Kurganov, two-time WSOP bracelet winner Greg Mueller and Las Vegas network strategist and noted speaker Eric Worre filled out the table.
Worre’s first appearance on the PAD felt was brief at just over an hour. But he got his stack in with a pair and a nut flush draw, unfortunately Koon was right there and called with a flopped two pair. Worre shook hands with the players and left the set.
The next two hours saw Kurganov, Koon and Emmett trade off as the short stacks. Kurgonav played multiple pots while very short, even doubling up twice through Boeree.

He was mounting a comeback, got involved in a hand against Mueller where the Canadian check-called to the river, where Kurganov bluff-shoved. Mueller called, he had top pair with a king and Kurganov showed As 3d as he left the table in fifth place.
Then a huge three-way pot shifted the momentum towards Boeree after a preflop showdown. She opened with pocket jacks, Mueller re-shoved with Ad 8c and Koon committed his stack with pocket queens. The board ran Jc 8d 3s Td 4h, Boeree’s set won the main pot for a triple up, Koon was left short stacked from the side pot that sent Mueller out in fourth place.
Koon didn’t wait around long as the short stack with blinds climbing every 15 minutes. He moved in preflop holding ace queen, Emmett called with pocket fives, Koon never improved and was out in third place.
Liv Boeree set the record this season for quickest heads-up match.
Boeree and Emmett began heads-up play even in chips and ten minutes later Boree made her title-winning call. Emmett’s stack slid south, he made his final stand by shoving with Jc Ts and Boeree called with Ad 2d. The board ran out Ac 7h 3h Td Kh, the ace in the window ended things and Boeree won the match.
Watch all the “Voices Carry” episodes of Poker After Dark only on PokerGO, where Matt Berkey, Ben Lamb and Liv Boeree all earned wins. New episodes of Poker After Dark return September 5 with three straight nights of action and brand-new lineups.
