The second night of a brand-new episode of Poker After Dark, live exclusively on PokerGO, kicked off at 8 pm ET. Tom Dwan made his return to US poker Monday night with a splash, lighting social media on fire when took down a $700,000 pot after a preflop all in confrontation with Antonio Esfandiari’s pocket kings against his pocket aces. The addition of a living legend and high stakes regular to the table is a recipe for another night of six-figure pots.
Andrew Robl and Poker Hall of Famer Doyle Brunson join John-Robert Bellande, Lauren Roberts and Bill Klein at the ARIA Resort & Casino for another night of nosebleed cash game.
Monday night’s action featured over $2 million on the table, crushing the $100,000 minimum buy-in. The $200/$400 stakes with a $400 button ante quickly increased with a mandatory $800 straddle agreed upon by the players. In fact, producers had to ask the players to reduce the straddles because the graphics couldn’t handle all the preflop action.
Dwan’s ultimate cooler hand was even spookier because the table was talking about folding pocket kings preflop. Negreanu said he had done it twice, Esfandiari said five times and “his folding days” were behind him.

Robl is a staple in high stakes community with $5 million in live tournament earnings. His early seven-figure bankroll swing days are behind him and he’s been playing against Dwan since their earliest days online.
Klein reveled during the table talk that all of his poker action – earnings, losses and buy-ins – are all matched and donated six different Orange County, California charities. Negreanu revealed that he had a block of a dozen season tickets to the Vegas Golden Knights that will go to various children’s charities in Las Vegas.
