LAS VEGAS – May 8, 2018 – Poker Central®, the ultimate destination for fans of poker tournaments, cash games, and lifestyle away from the tables, partnered with CakeWorks, a full-service digital video agency, to produce a new short form documentary series titled “INSIDERS: Super High Roller Bowl® 2018,” premiering May 10th on PokerGO®. The series will feature three regulars on the high stakes circuit: Daniel Negreanu, Brandon Adams, and Seth Davies – as they prepare for this year’s Super High Roller Bowl.
The seven-part series is produced in collaboration with Emmy-winning producer, Jesse Cook, known for his work on the SHOWTIME original series, “All Access.” The episodes will give fans a behind-the-scenes look at how these top-tier players prepare for one the most elite high stakes tournaments in the world. Viewers will see Negreanu, Adams and Davies make their mental and physical preparations in advance of the Super High Roller Bowl from start to finish. The first episode will be available for a limited time on Poker Central’s YouTube channel. After the May 10th premiere date, additional episodes will roll out in the weeks leading up to and immediately following the Super High Roller Bowl and will be available exclusively on PokerGO.
“We wanted to give our fans a new perspective on poker – an inside look at the training it takes for these high stakes players to be at the top of their game,” said Sam Simmons, said vice president of content at Poker Central. “We look forward to highlighting the intense preparation that Daniel, Brandon and Seth undergo in their own unique ways leading up to and throughout the Super High Roller Bowl.”
Nicknamed “Kid Poker,” Negreanu was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame in 2014. Boasting more than $36 million in total live earnings, Negreanu is also ranked #1 on the worldwide all-time money list, has six World Series of Poker bracelets, two World Poker Tour titles, and is the only two-time WSOP Player of the Year winner in the history of the WSOP. Brandon Adams has earned over $3.1 million in live events, his largest score hailing from the 2017 Poker Masters $50K, where Adams finished in first place for $819,000. This will be Negreanu’s fourth appearance in the Super High Roller Bowl, and the first for Davies and Adams.
