Poker Central Announces Poker Masters on PokerGO

With the World Series of Poker Main Event playing down to the final table last night, PokerGO subscribers are likely on the edge of their seat waiting to see what is next from poker’s premier on-demand streaming service. The reboot of “Poker After Dark” was already announced earlier this month and before the final table of the WSOP Main Event returns to ESPN on Thursday, July 20, Poker Central and ARIA Resort & Casino are ready to announce the debut of Poker Masters.

The week-long high-stakes poker tournament series is comprised of four $50,000 buy-in events and one $100,000 buy-in event, with each $50,000 buy-in event running with a two-day structure and the $100,000 buy-in event spanning three days. Live streams of both feature and final tables will be exclusively broadcast on PokerGO, with Poker Masters beginning on September 13.

Poker Masters will run through September 20, with high-stakes action every day, with the exception of Sunday, September 17. A complete Poker Masters PokerGO streaming schedule is listed below:

September 13 – Event No. 1: $50,000 buy-in (two days)
September 14 – Event No. 2: $50,000 buy-in (two days)
September 15 – Event No. 3: $50,000 buy-in (two days)
September 16 – Event No. 4: $50,000 buy-in (two days)
September 18 – Event No. 5: $100,000 buy-in (three days)

Each $50,000 buy-in event will allow a single re-entry, while the $100,000 buy-in event will be played as a “freezeout” with no re-entries. There will not be a cap on the number of players that can enter in either tournament and there will not be a rake on the $50,000 events for players that register on time, nor will there be a rake in the $100,000 event for players who play all $50,000 tournaments. Late entries and re-entries will pay a rake.

Just like in the Super High Roller Bowl, each event will have a 30-second shot clock per hand, with time extensions provided to players at the start of each day.

At the end of the series, the player with the highest total earnings across the five events will be crowned the Poker Masters Champion and take home the Poker Masters Purple Jacket™. The custom jacket is designed and tailored by world-renowned fashion designer Waraire Boswell, who dresses A-list celebrities and athletes including Will Smith, Kobe Bryant, Pharrell Williams, Ellen DeGeneres and LeBron James, among others.

Poker Masters expands PokerGO’s live event offering and provides subscribers the opportunity to watch the best content the game has to offer.
