Robert Mizrachi won the Event #13: $10,000 Dealer's Choice Championship for $333,045 at the 2024 World Series of Poker for his fifth WSOP gold bracelet. He now joins Scott Seiver, Daniel Alaei, David Chiu, Eli Elezra, Adam Friedman, Benny Glaser, John Monnette, and his brother Michael Mizrachi as five-time WSOP bracelet winnings. This victory was also Mizrachi's fourth-largest WSOP score and ninth-largest career score, as he now has amassed more than $9.3 million in lifetime tournament earnings, according to The Hendon Mob.
The scheduled final day of Event #13: $10,000 Dealer's Choice Championship began with 11 players, and unfortunately for those on the rail, they would witness Phil Ivey and Daniel Negreanu eliminated in 11th and 10th place, respectively. Soccer player Max Kruse was eliminated in ninth place, and once the final table was reached, WSOP bracelet winners David Bach and Ben Lamb fell in fifth and fourth place, respectively, before play was halted and an additional day was added to the schedule.
Mizrachi and Michael Martinelli were separated by only a couple of big bets for the chip lead, while Japan's Ryutaro Suzuki rounded out the final three. Suzuki was eliminated soon after play started in Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo as Mizarchi took a near three-to-one chip advantage into heads-up play. Mizrachi pulled ahead before the final hand played out in Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw with Martinelli at-risk and drawing to a wheel, but after he paired up, he would lose out to Mizrachi's nine-smooth.
