He struck a heads-up deal with “anti-durrrr” in SCOOP Event #12 – High $1,050 No Limit Hold’em that gave Riess $186,982 and his opponent $200,000, leaving $20,000 on the table for the winner. It was a two-day event that drew 1,408 entrants and generated a $1.4 million prize pool.
Riess plays under the online name “MrMaximize” and it seems that his PokerStars screenname was not well-known.
@RyanRiess1 Congrats, but doubt you’ll be able to keep your screenname a secret any more lol!
