The feature table in play down days at the World Series of Poker Main Event is a staple for heated action and controversy. 2016 gave viewers access to the William Kassouf Hour as he put all of his might toward tilting an entire field. Justin ‘Stealthmunk’ Schwartz preceded Kassouf with a different form of banter in 2015.

Today on PokerGO, Curtis Rystadt goes a step further than both Kassouf and Schwartz by targeting a specific player.

Rystadt leveraged all of his efforts toward Kyle Keranen in an effort to maximize chips gained for Keranen’s chip leading stack. Through slow rolls, verbal carnage, and bad beats, Rystadt works dark magic to put Keranen on edge.

The table is dead silent with the exception of Keranen and Rystadt, who settle their war before the end of Day 5.

A strong field of 292 enters Day 5 with Maria Ho chief among them. This is far from Ho’s first run toward a Main Event final table. In 2007, Ho debuted in front of a national audience with a 38th place finish in her Main Event premiere.

Ho puts the pressure on a few opponents, including Jack Schanbacher, in an exciting all-in spot.

Watch more of Ho from Poker After Dark, most recently on “Reality Check” week.

Joining Ho among the notable pros are ‘Boston’ Tony Ruberto, Matt Waxman, and Mark Newhouse.

Ruberto is a colorful character who sounds just like his nickname and plays even better.

The four episodes on Day 5 give rise to the legend of Newhouse as he starts to build a head of steam toward another November Nine appearance. Newhouse plays well but he runs even better.

Brazilian sensation Bruno Politano also gets involved with a huge set-over-set pot to take the chip lead.

Day 5 from previous years featured Kassouf’s showdown with Stacy Matuson, and Fedor Holz running the bluff of the year against Upeshka De Silva. This year’s spotlight belongs to the Keranen and Rystadt and they make the most out of every minute they are on camera.
