The $10,000 Pot Limit Omaha Championship is down to its final table of eight, with live streaming on PokerGO starting at 1:30 p.m. PST/4:30 pm ET. Atop the counts, we find the winner of two Omaha bracelets and a World Poker Tour, Scott Clements, who finds himself in a terrific spot to get the biggest win of his career since winning the WPT mentioned above in 2007.
Clements burst onto the scene in 2006 with a bracelet win in the $3,000 Omaha Eight-or-Better event, which he followed up with another bracelet win in the 2007 $1,500 Pot Limit Omaha. Currently, Clements comes into the final day with 5.4 million chips.
Clements is not the only player at the final table chasing his third bracelet, as Jason DeWitt took down the Millionaire Maker in 2016 for just over a million dollars, after winning the $5,000 No Limit Hold’em back in 2010. DeWitt has a total of six WSOP final table, and his experience makes him into one of Clements’ biggest rivals.
Tommy Le sits second in chips, looking to better his second place in last year’s $25,000 Pot Limit Omaha High Roller at the WSOP when Brandon Shack-Harris outlasted him for the crown. Le’s still looking for his first bracelet, but has been close multiple times having made no less than four WSOP final tables – all in Omaha formats.
The other players at the final table include 2011 November Niner Eoghan O’Dea, bracelet winner Chris Lee, Miltiadis Kyriakides, Hani Mio and Murat Tulek. Here are the chip counts coming into today.
