In that series, which spanned 12 events, Winter won the final two tournaments - Event #11: $25,000 No-Limit Hold'em and Event #12: $50,000 No-Limit Hold'em - to finish atop the standings and capture the golden eagle trophy and $50,000 championship bonus.
Winter joins Steffen Sontheimer (2017), Ali Imsirovic (2018), Sam Soverel (2019), Alexandros Kolonias (2020 online), Eelis Parssinen (2020 online PLO), and Michael Addamo (2021) as Poker Masters Purple Jacket winners.
