PokerStars Announces Biggest Series in Online Poker History
Starting next week, when the Super High Roller Bowl kicks off on May 28th, Las Vegas will have the attention of the entire poker world. That attention will only intensify throughout the summer with Poker Central’s recent acquisition of the global television and digital media rights to the World Series of Poker. Before the year’s biggest event and biggest series begin though, one of the year’s biggest charity poker events is stealing all the pre-summer attention.
The 19th annual two-day charity event, Tiger Jam 2017, begins on May 19th at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino and attendees will get to experience four incredible events throughout a jampacked weekend of action. The weekend opens with Tiger’s Poker Night, presented by the World Poker Tour, where prizes and bragging rights are up for grabs.
The charity poker event will feature some of the world’s top poker players and a host of celebrities, including Tiger Jame 2017 special guest, Kate Upton. The 2017 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover model will hit the felt and will host exclusive meet and greets throughout the weekend. Poker Central Ambassador and 14-time WSOP bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth will also host the event.
The main event though begins on Saturday, with a VIP reception and live auctions. Luxury items and one-of-a-kind experiences, from world-wide vacation packages, to autographed sports memorabilia and much, much more. Next up, is a live concert with country music legend Darius Rucker and the weekend ends with an epic post-party celebration at Topgolf Las Vegas.
From start to finish, Tiger Jam 2017 is full of action, celebrities, excitement but most importantly, charity. Tiger Jam benefits the Tiger Woods Foundation and the TWF has raised over $19 million for college access programs around the country. More information on Tiger Jam can be found here and be sure to follow all the weekend action on TGR Live’s social channels.
