The most dramatic day of the poker calendar is here in Las Vegas on Day 7 of the WSOP Main Event. Daniel Negreanu headlines the remaining 27 players with only nine seats available for the most prestigious final table in poker. Day 6 brought the heat and Day 7 tops it with dramatics for four episodes.
Now available on PokerGO are the penultimate episodes of the 2015 Main Event with Negreanu in the spotlight and the final table on the line. There are other storylines in play with Joe McKeehen and Neil Blumenfeld both receiving camera time.
The eccentric Blumenfield get his shine on the secondary feature table where he makes the chips of John Allan Hinds disappear. Norman Chad can’t stop raving about Blumenfield’s look and neither can fans of the retired tech executive’s #oldmanswag.
McKeehen starts the day near the top of the leaderboard and takes over control of the chip lead in one of the most unbelievable hands in Main Event history. Justin Schwartz and McKeehen both have a set and the chips inevitably go into the middle. “The Moment” from the 2015 Main Event is plastered on the face of Schwartz as he sees the hell that the deck has put him in.
Negreanu is the feature story throughout the Main Event as he makes an impossible run with the whole poker world rooting him on. Can one of the best players of all-time make it to the promised land? The only obstacle standing between Negreanu and the final table is McKeehen. The young pro from Pennsylvania is on the run of a lifetime and the ultimate showdown awaits on the Mothership stage.
On the latest edition of “Heads up with Remko,” Negreanu sits down with Remko Rinkema to discuss his run from 2015.
Relive all the drama from Day 7 exclusively on PokerGO by subscribing today. Only nine players from 27 make the final table. Who will be among them?
