The 2025 PGT season continued with another non-hold'em series of the season, with Pot-Limit Omaha players taking over the PokerGO Studio for the fifth installment of the PGT PLO Series.

After being crowned the PGT Mixed Games champion, Chino Rheem followed that with a third-place finish on the PGT PLO Series leaderboard. The 506 PGT points he earned propelled him into top spot on the PGT leaderboard with 928 PGT points. Rheem has two wins and eight cashes this season, and he holds top spot on the PGT leaderboard for the first time in his PGT career. Joey Weissman, Kristen Foxen, and Michael Moncek all didn't participate in the PGT PLO Series, and all dropped to second, third, and eighth on the PGT leaderboard, respectively.

Nick Schulman is the current leader in PGT cashes for the season with 13 after picking up five during the PGT PLO Series. He earned 168 PGT points and moved into fourth place with 848 PGT points. Eric Blair cashed twice and sits in fifth overall with 793 PGT points. Daniel Negreanu cashed five times at the PGT PLO Series and earned 397 PGT points. He is now sixth on the PGT leaderboard with 789 PGT points.

Following a slow start to the season, Jesse Lonis put on an outstanding performance at the PGT PLO Series to be crowned the series champion after accumulating 662 PGT points from his one win, four podium finishes, and five cashes. Lonis is now seventh on the PGT leaderboard with 786 PGT points. Alex Foxen fell short of winning his first PGT series championship as he earned 633 PGT points in the PGT PLO Series. Foxen climbs into ninth on the PGT leaderboard and sits with 677 PGT points. Both Lonis and Foxen will be favorites to improve on their PGT leaderboard position at the upcoming U.S. Poker Open.

Rounding out the top ten on the PGT leaderboard is Patrick Leonard with 610 PGT points. Other players improving strongly on their PGT leaderboard position at the PGT PLO Series were Jim Collopy (12th - 559 PGT points), Bryce Yockey (13th - 437 PGT points), and Tyler Brown (15th - 407 PGT points).
