The 2025 PGT PLO Series from the PokerGO Studio at ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, has come to a conclusion with Event #11: $5,100 Pot-Limit Omaha Bounty being won by Zachary Schwartz.
Schwartz notched his first PGT title with the victory and his fifth cash. He now eclipses $1,100,000 in lifetime earnings, according to The Hendon Mob.
The final event of the series attracted 73 entrants to generate a prize pool of $365,000 which paid the top 11 places. Cary Katz was the unfortunate bubble boy when he got his chips in on a flop with combo draws and bricked out. Bruno Furth (11th), Eric Blair (10th), Kai Yang (9th), and Yake Wu (8th) were the next to fall before the final table was set.
Schwartz came into the final table with half of the chips in play and leveraged his stack to eliminate five of his six opponents en route to victory. He quickly scored a double knockout when he made a boat to beat aces and kings, eliminating Danny Noam in seventh place and Ronald Keijzer in sixth place. Schwartz would then pick up aces to eliminate Event #5 winner Christopher Costa in fifth place before he rivered a flush against flopped trips to eliminate John Riordan in fourth place. Alex Foxen made a straight and got value on the river to leave Tyler Brown with dust, and on the following hand made a boat to eliminate Brown in third place.
Heads-up play was a big sweat, as Jesse Lonis needed to fade a Foxen victory to lock up the title of PLO Series champion, which comes with a PGT Gold Cup and $10,000 PGT Passport, in addition to a side bet with several players worth half a million dollars to either Lonis or Foxen. Schwartz came into the final table with nearly 72% of the chips in play and it didn't take long before the chips went in. Foxen got all-in on a turn with top two pair but ran into Schwartz's set, and when the river blanked, Foxen was eliminated in second place. Schwartz won the $63,510 first-place prize in addition to $28,000 in bounties, 105 PGT points, and the Event #11 trophy, while Lonis clinched the title of PLO Series champion.
