Four More Bracelets Awarded on GGPoker WSOP Online - Ivan Zufic Wins $500 Mini Main Event for $843,460

The 2020 World Series of Poker Online on GGPoker continued over the weekend with five WSOP bracelets being awarded. On Saturday, the conclusion of the $10,000 Heads-Up Championship saw four players return as David Peters won the $360,480 first-place prize and his second WSOP bracelet. Four other events also took place as four new WSOP bracelet winners were crowned.

Alexander Stacey Wins $300 Monster Stack for $127,660

The Event #61: $300 Monster Stack No-Limit Hold’em 6-Handed kicked off Saturday action on GGPoker, and attracted 3,491-entrants and created a prize pool of $973,989 that paid the top 440 finishers.

Some players finishing in-the-money included Michiel Van Elsacker, Bryan Paris, Alex Foxen, Roberto Romanello, Connor Drinan, Jack Salter, Patrick Tardif, Luke Martinello, and Charles La Boissonniere. Steve O’Dwyer entered the final table as chip leader but finished in seventh-place as it would be Alexander “MightyWarior” Stacey defeating Craig “Tonkaiktomni” Lecompte heads-up to win the $127,660 first-place prize and the third WSOP bracelet from the United Kingdom during GGPoker’s WSOP Online.

Bradley Ruben Captures $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha and First WSOP Bracelet

The Event #62: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha was the first event on Sunday, and it attracted 990 entrants and created a $1,410,750 prize pool. Of the 134 players finishing in-the-money, they included Micke McDonald, Rainer Kempe, Mohsin Charania, Ludovic Geilich, Shankar Pillai, Ami Barer, Gavin Cochrane, Stephen Chidwick, Craig Varnell, and Patrik Antonius.

Tournament veterans Patrick Serda, Sami Kelopuro, and Jens Lakemeier all made the final table but fell short in seventh, sixth, and third place respectively. Bradley “DrStrange7” Ruben would enter heads-up play holding a near five-to-two chip advantage over Dorel “DorelEl” Eldabach. After just a few hands, Eldabach would be all in with an overpair against Ruben’s flush draw. Ruben turned a straight draw, and improved to the ace-high flush on the river to eliminate Eldabach and simultaneously be crowned the Event #62 champion and collected the $220,160 first-place prize which includes an added WSOP Europe package.

Over 15,000 Entants in $500 Mini Main Event as Ivan Zufic Collects Gold

The Event #63: $500 Mini Main Event attracted a whopping 15,205 entrants and created a $7,222,375 prize pool. With 15 starting flights, a total of 2,055 players returned on Sunday as just 1,600 would finish in-the-money. Some of the players to collect a Mini Main Event cash would include GGPoker ambassadors Daniel Negreanu, Bertrand Grospellier, and Felipe Ramos, along with Joao Vieira, Daniel Dvoress, Chance Kornuth, Michael Addamo, Andy Lee, and Asi Moshe.

Ivan “zufo16” Zufic entered the final table as chip leader, and he would hold on by defeating Suraj “M26GreenWood” Mishra heads-up to win the $843,460 first-place prize, an added WSOP Europe package, and the first WSOP bracelet for Croatia.

Kartik Ved Wins $840 Turbo Bounty for $234,433

The final event of the weekend was the Event #64: $840 Turbo Bounty No-Limit Hold’em that attracted 2,207 entrants and created a $1,740,800 prize pool.

Negreanu cashed for the 27th time of WSOP Online, while fellow GGPoker ambassador Ramos reached the final table before bowing out in seventh place. India’s Kartik “Mandovi” Ved would emerge victorious after defeating Konstantin “makRUSgreaga” Maslak heads-up to win $131,461 in prize money, along with $102,972 in bounty prize money to collect a total prize of $234,433 and his first WSOP bracelet.
