The 2024 Poker Masters presented by PokerStars NAPT continued on Monday from the PokerGO Studio at ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, with Event #6: $15,100 No-Limit Hold’em. The tournament drew 84 entries and Isaac Haxton leads the final seven players.
Haxton steadily accumulated chips throughout the day and leveraged his stack to play lots of pots in the later levels, ultimately ending the day as the chip leader. He leads a final table that includes Dylan Linde, Jim Collopy, Jeremy Becker, Aram Zobian, Sean Winter, and Nick Schulman. These seven players will return on Tuesday at 11:45 a.m. already guaranteed $50,400. Up top for the winner is the $352,800 first-place prize, 353 PGT points, and the Event #6 trophy.
The field of 84 entrants created a prize pool of $1,260,000 and the final 12 players earned a piece of it. Daniel Weinand was the unfortunate bubble boy when he ran ace-king into jacks and failed to improve. Dan Smith (12th), Jesse Lonis (11th), Filipp Khavin (10th), and David Coleman (9th) were the first to fall in the money.
Michael Jozoff picked up his first cash of the series but fell just short of the final table. He got his chips in with pocket eights against Collopy's ace-ten, and a ten on the river eliminated Jozoff in eighth place, while the seven remaining players bagged to return for the streamed final table.
Collopy currently leads in the race for the 2024 Poker Masters Purple Jacket, which comes with a $25,000 PGT Passport and a PokerStars NAPT Gold Pass. Collopy has 295 PGT points this series, while Event #2 winner Becker sits second with 285 points. Winter (115), Linde (112), Haxton (105), Schulman (40), and Zobian (28) will also be looking to shoot up the leaderboard as the players eye the $352,800 first-place prize and 353 PGT points awaiting the Event #6 winner.
