Jared Bleznick can now call himself a WSOP bracelet winner after topping the 178-entrant field in Event #92: $50,000 No-Limit Hold'em High Roller at the 2024 World Series of Poker. Bleznick earned $2,037,947 in prize money and saw his lifetime tournament earnings climb to more than $6,834,000, according to The Hendon Mob.
Bleznick now sits 119th on the United States All-Time Money List, and adds his second seven-figure cash to his poker resume after he won the inaugural $100,000 buy-in Super High Roller Bowl: Pot-Limit Omaha in October 2023. At the 2024 WSOP, Bleznick was on a mission to prove the "haters" wrong after going undrafted in the $25k Fantasy Draft. Bleznick cashed ten times and made three final tables on his way to winning his first WSOP bracelet.
The record-setting field in the $50k No-Limit Hold'em High Roller created a prize pool of $8,499,500 and paid the top 27 players. Those finishing in the money included Bryn Kenney, Ben Lamb, Chris Brewer, Michael Moncek, Viktor Blom, Brek Schutten, David Peters, and Michael Rocco prior to the final table being set. Following the eliminations of Erik Seidel in eighth place, Isai Scheinberg in seventh place, and Brynjar Gigja in sixth place, the final five players bagged up on Day 2 and returned on Sunday, July 14, to conclude play.
Germany's Christoph Vogelsang returned as chip leader, while Bleznick sat second overall. Justin Saliba would be the first to be eliminated when he was all-in with ace-king suited against the ace-queen of Bleznick. Unfortunately for Saliba, four spades fell on the board and Bleznick's ace of spades would eliminate Saliba in fifth place. Nacho Barbero exited next when he was all-in with queen-four against the ten-six of Jesse Lonis. A six landed on the flop and the final table was down to just three players.
Overnight chip leader Vogelsang was the next to fall when he shoved with ace-nige and Bleznick called with pocket tens. No ace fell for the German, and he was eliminated in third place as Bleznick held a two-to-one chip advantage over Lonis. After some back-and-forth, the final hand saw Lonis limp-call all-in with pocket sevens to be against the ace-four suited of Bleznick. The flop brought an ace, and when no improvement fell for Lonis, he would be eliminated in second place and Bleznick would be crowned the Event #92 champion.
