On Day 47 of the 2024 World Series of Poker, seven events played out across Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas, but all the attention remained on Day 7 of the WSOP Main Event, where the returning field of 59 played down to the final two tables.
The WSOP Main Event rolled on from the Horseshoe Las Vegas, and 59 players returned with a guaranteed $160,000 in prize money. Once the dust settled, only 18 players remained, and everyone was just an elimination away from a pay jump from $350,000 to $450,400.
Leading the final two tables into Day 8 is Malo Latinois with 61,300,000 in chips. He is trailed by Portugal's Diogo Coelho (51,500,000), Canada's Jason Sagle (51,400,000), Sweden's Niklas "Lena900" Astedt (50,000,000), and Canada's Kristen Foxen (47,400,000).
Others surviving into Day 8 include Joe Serock (46,300,000), Brian Kim (42,400,000), and Jonathan Tamayo (18,400,000).
Players hitting the rail on Day 7 included Stephen Song (57th), Alex Keating (55th), Jesse Capps (51st), Russell Rosenblum (46th), Nick Jivkov (43rd), Brandon Cantu (39th), Arthur Morris (34th), and Brian Rast (24th).

Calvin Anderson joins an elusive club of five-time WSOP bracelet winners: Daniel Alaei, Yuri Dzivielevski, Eli Elezra, Adam Friedman, Benny Glaser, John Monnette, and Nick Schulman. Anderson defeated Dai Ishibashi heads-up to win the $413,446 first-place prize.

Joseph Sanders topped the 1,304-entrant field to win his first WSOP bracelet in Event #90: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha 6-Handed. Sanders defeated Anatoliy Zlotnikov heads-up to win the $269,530 first-place prize.

Day 3 action in Event #91: $3,000 H.O.R.S.E. has come to a conclusion with John Racener and Gary Bolden heads-up. Both players have locked up $135,877, while all eyes are on the $206,321 first-place prize.
Racener leads Bolden with a 10,050,000 to 4,275,000 chip advantage. Racener is also trying to win his second WSOP bracelet of the series and the third of his career.

Day 2 ended with 147 players and Takao Shimizu holding the chip lead with 3,155,000 in chips. He is trailed by Lucas Reeves, Asi Moshe, Hannes Jeschka, and Travis Egbert.
Two events kicked off on Saturday, July 13, at the 2024 World Series of Poker, with Event #93: $777 Lucky 7's No-Limit Hold'em and Event #94: $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed Championship taking center stage from Paris Las Vegas.
From the 1,498 entrants in Day 1A of the Lucky 7's, only 69 advanced to Day 2, with Michael McNeil holding the chip lead.
From the 418 entrants in the 6-Handed Championship, only 152 players advanced to Day 2 where registration is still open. Patrik Jaros is the chip leader with 785,000, and he leads ahead of notables James Chen, Scott Ball, Daniel Neilson, Alejandro Lococo, and Adrian Mateos.
