The field of 85 entrants created a prize pool of $850,000 and the top 13 finishers earned a piece of it. Ed Sebesta was the unfortunate bubble boy when he got his remaining stack in with top pair on the turn and ran into Wilson's flush.
Jeremy Becker (13th), Stoyan Madanzhiev (12th), Joey Weissman (11th), Brian Luo (10th), Jeremy Ausmus (9th), and John Hennigan (8th) all made it into the money but fell short of the final table.
The seven remaining players converged on a single table and exchanged chips around as Negreanu chipped up and Lonis emerged as the chipleader at the end of Level 16, when the seven players bagged to return for the streamed final table.
The seven players will return with $34,000 locked up, but all eyes will be on the $229,500 first-place prize, 230 PGT points, and the PGT Gold Cup awaiting the Event #3 champion.
