The 2024 Poker Masters presented by PokerStars NAPT continued on Friday from the PokerGO Studio at ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, with Event #4: $10,100 No-Limit Hold’em. The tournament drew 81 entries and Jonathan Little leads the final seven players.
With 23 players remaining, Little was down to just 8,000 in chips at the 6,000/12,000 level, but had a remarkable spinup to finish as the chip leader. He leads a final table that includes Jim Collopy, Isaac Haxton, Sam Soverel, Clemen Deng, Harvey Castro, and Wayne Nowak. These seven players will return on Saturday at 11:45 a.m. already guaranteed $32,400. Up top for the winner is the $226,800 first-place prize, 227 PGT points, and the Event #4 trophy.
The field of 81 entrants created a prize pool of $810,000 and the final 12 players earned a piece. Lucas Foster just missed out, busting on the money bubble when his ace-jack failed to improve against Deng's pocket kings. Matthew McEwan (12th), Alex Foxen (11th), John Riordan (10th), and Brock Wilson (9th) were the first to fall in the money.
Ren Lin, seeking his third consecutive final table, fell short in eighth place, getting his chips in with ace-five against Haxton's king-queen. Haxton paired his king on the flop and held up from there, setting the final table of seven players. After playing a little longer, play was called once Level 15 concluded.
