The 2025 PGT PLO Series continued from the PokerGO Studio at ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, with Event #10: $25,200 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship. The tournament drew 60 entries and Kamel Mokhammad leads the final 13 players.
Mokhammad accumulated throughout the day and was already one of the bigger stacks in the room when he eliminated Daniel Negreanu with quads over a boat to surge to the top of the counts. Later, he took a sizable side pot when he eliminated Seth Davies in a three-way all-in and finished the night by bagging 18% of the chips in play.
Jesse Lonis, Christopher Frank, Firas Kashat, Jeremy Ausmus, Tyler Brown, Stephen Chidwick, Dylan Linde, Lautaro Guerra, Jim Collopy, Dylan Weisman, Artem Maksimov, and Cary Katz round out the players returning for the final day.
The field of 60 entrants created a prize pool of $1,500,000 and the final nine players will earn a piece of it. A min-cash will be worth $45,000, while the winner will take home the $480,000 first-place prize, 288 PGT points, and the Event #10 trophy.
Alex Foxen currently sits atop the series leaderboard with 564 points in the race for the PLO Series champion Gold Cup and a $10,000 PGT Passport. Event #9 winner Lonis will have the best shot to overtake him as he comes back with a sizable stack and is second on the leaderboard with 536 points. An eighth-place finish or better would leapfrog Lonis to the top, while Brown needs a victory and is the only other player who could overtake Foxen at the end of this event.
There is one more event in the series, a $5,100 Pot-Limit Omaha Bounty tournament, which will take place on the final day of the Championship event and will be the last chance for players to earn PGT points towards the PLO Series leaderboard.
