The PLO players were back in action for the fifth installment of the PGT PLO Series, which saw six different events enter the top five for all-time field size at their respective buy-ins in PGT-owned and operated events. The opening event of the series saw Ky "Suited Superman" Nguyen win his first PGT title, while Billy Tarango continued the trend of first wins as he claimed his first PGT title in Event #2. Daniel Negreanu broke his tie with Stephen Chidwick to win his 11th PGT title in Event #3.
Chino Rheem won his fifth PGT title, and along with three final table appearances and four cashes, he moved to the top of the PGT leaderboard with 928 PGT points. Christopher Costa won his first PGT title in Event #5 and took home an additional $190,000 in bounties to go along with his $123,200 first-place prize. Dylan Smith won Event #6 for his first PGT title, while Alex Foxn broke an 803-day drought to win his eighth PGT title.
Bryce Yockey cashed six times this series and made three final tables, closing out Event #8 to take home his second PGT title. Jesse Lonis picked up his fourth PGT title in Event #9, while 2024 Poker Masters Purple Jacket winner Jim Collopy won the $25k Pot-Limit Omaha Championship for his second PGT Title. In the final event of the series, Zachary Schwartz earned his first PGT title and collected a combined $91,510. Schwartz also denied Foxen of his second series victory, meaning he would fall agonizingly short of being crowned the PGT PLO Series champion.
