Matt Berkey Hits "Deep Issues"

Poker Central’s Drea Renee puts Matt Berkey in the massage chair and attempts to put the high stakes cash game expert under pressure. That’s easier said than done though, as Berkey has experience at some of the world’s highest stakes tournaments and cash games, including the Super High Roller Bowl.

In 2016, Berkey final tabled the Super High Roller Bowl for a $1.1 million score and that tournament run, along with his preparation for the $300,000 buy-in event, was featured in PokerGO’s Dead Money documentary. Berkey talks life after Dead Money and about how he is perceived by other High Rollers, before awarding himself Best Dressed honors.

The normally serious and quiet Berkey takes on a different attitude in the Deep Issues massage chair, but that light-hearted mood likely won’t last long. Berkey is set to return to the Poker After Dark arena next week, when he’ll compete on back-to-back nights of $200/$400 No Limit Hold’em cash games during “Leave It to Seiver” week.
