Another day of the 2018 World Series of Poker brings us one step closer to the July 12 final table. The field of 7,874 pared down a little bit more on PokerGO thanks, in part, to Michael Mizrachi. ‘The Grinder’ made the most of his camera time on Day 1B and saddled up again for Day 2.

Watch the full Day 2AB stream here to catch up on all of the action:

Mizrachi’s return was heavily anticipated and lived up to the hype shared by 2004 Main Event runner-up David Williams.

The fifth-gear aggression of Mizrachi broke many on the feature table. Pocket kings proved to be the perfect bait to lure Mizrachi in and he captured the chips of a foe to grow his own stack.

Ted Ely was Mizrachi’s victim here and far from the only player to fall on Day 2AB. Notables to have their dreams dashed include Erik Seidel, 2018 Super High Roller Bowl winner Justin Bonomo, Jeremy Ausmus, Dan Smith, John Hesp, and Ryan Riess.

Mizrachi slipped toward the end of the night but is still alive for his second Main Event final table when Day 3 starts.

Players who advanced from the flight with piles waiting for them on Day 3 are Brian Altman (476,500), Ben Yu (311,000), Darren Elias (240,700), and Jake Schindler (208,900). Champions looking for another banner include Chris Ferguson and Greg Merson.

The Main Event returns to PokerGO on July 6 for Day 2C coverage starting at 12:00 am ET. Over 3,000 return for action before the field combines on July 7 for Day 3 and the potential bursting of the money bubble.
