Mike Gorodinsky is the first mixed game winner of the U.S. Poker Open. The well-respected pro came from behind to win the $10,000 Pot Limit Omaha event against a tough final table.
Gorodinsky emerged victorious against a field of 64 entrants to earn the $179,200 first-place prize. USPO Event #1 winner Justin Bonomo is the only player currently ahead of Gorodinsky in the overall standings.

Gorodinsky is a PLO tournament veteran with numerous World Series of Poker cashes in the game on his resume. He needed everyone one of those chops and his experienced shined on the PokerGO live stream.
Richard Kirsch started final table play with a commanding chip lead against the field. The WPT Five Diamond final tablist earned his first cash of the series by finishing second to Gorodinsky in this event.
Cary Katz and Anthony Zinno both notched their second USPO score by making the final table. Through two events, they are the only players who can say that.
Short stack Cary Katz had to settle for 6th, but he's one of only two players that have ? in both #USPO events.
The other, @AntZinno, is still alive at the $10K PLO final table.

WPT Champions Club Member Andjelko Andrejevic followed Katz out the door in fifth place. Andrejevic lost a large pot to Gorodinsky to all but seal his fate. The pot gave Gorodinsky most of the chips in play and a lead he would not relinquish.
After picking off @andjelko28 in the biggest pot of the day, @gordoMG is running away from the rest of the #USPO $10K PLO final table.

Zinno bowed out in fourth place and Rainer Kempe finished third. Kempe picks up his first cash of the USPO. Zinno owns a PLO bracelet dating back to the 2015 WSOP and Kempe earns $83,200 for his first career PLO final table.
Heads up play was a short-lived affair between Gorodinsky and Kirsch. Gorodinsky had nearly all of the chips when heads up started and finished off Kirsch in an efficient manner.
He dominated from start to finish, eliminated everyone from the final table, and @gordoMG cruised to a $10K Pot Limit Omaha win.
