It’s time! The first ever Poker Central Podcast is here, hosted by Remko Rinkema and Brent Hanks.
On the first episode, Rinkema and Hanks discuss the following hot topics:
• 2017 Super High Roller Bowl announcement
• Christian Harder wins first major tournament
• Luc Greenwood joins his brothers as major event winner
• Bryn Kenney crushes in the Bahamas once again
• And lots of shenanigans including Uncle Ron stories
The 2017 Super High Roller Bowl takes place at the ARIA Resort & Casino and both Rinkema and Hanks give their early takes on which players to expect and look out for. The event runs from May 28-31 and has a $300,000 buy-in without any rake! The first-place prize – accounting for a sellout at 50 players – will be $5,000,000.
Christian Harder’s been at it on the international poker circuit for over a decade and he took down the PokerStars Championship Bahamas Main Event for $430,000 last week. We spoke to Harder right after he took down the event. Luc Greenwood was the second player to notch up a breakout victory, taking down the $25,000 High Roller for $780,000, more than ten times his biggest career cash. Greenwood was calm and collective, and we also spoke to him for an interesting interview with the third Greenwood brother to burst onto the scene with a big win.
On top of all of this, we attempt to analyze Bryn Kenney’s insane success in the Bahamas, and Hanks drops in some insanity with Uncle Ron from this past weekend’s NFL betting. All in all, enjoy the show and subscribe!
