Playing off Poker Central’s “This Week in Poker” articles, which highlight the three biggest story lines across the poker landscape, Poker Central introduces “This Month on PokerGO.” Each month, we’ll highlight the newest additions to PokerGO‘s expansive library, including live event streams and a wide range of original programming. Whether you’re looking to relive the action or for a sneak peak at what you might have missed, “This Month on PokerGO” will get you in the game.
“Femme Fatale”
One week into 2018, @krissyb24poker (almost) pulled off the "Bluff of the Year." ❤️ if you were rooting for the bluff to work and tune in tonight for more "Femme Fatale" #PokerAfterDark action! https://t.co/4E2f3MYHuj pic.twitter.com/Q1IAcoJ5mC

PokerGO’s year began with two nights of Poker After Dark high stakes cash games, featuring some of the poker world’s best female players. GPI Female Player of the Year Kristin Bicknell led the line and nearly pulled off a massive bluff during the opening night of play. She then went on to book an over $100,000 win during the “Femme Fatale” finale, but it wasn’t enough to beat Melanie Weisner’s weekly total. 888poker professional Sofia Lovgren, Kitty Kuo, and Kathy Leibert also made their Poker After Dark debuts.
“The Prestige”
From start to finish, "The Prestige" week was @MagicAntonio vs. @bp22. Their final ? led to an over $250K pot.

Two nights of magical cash games followed. Antonio Esfandiari returned to Poker After Dark, along with Hollywood producer Randall Emmett and High Roller Bill Perkins. “The Prestige” week also featured NBA veteran Bobby Sura and a handful of other Poker After Dark debutantes. During back-to-back nights, the deceptively big cash games created multiple $200,000 pots and action, with Esfandiari and Perkins at the center of most of it.
“Reality Check”
A set for @MariaHo, a straight for @fkassela. Can either of them scoop?

The third 2018 installment of Poker After Dark featured a few more big personalities. Maria Ho returned to PokerGO, after being featured during “Holidays with Hellmuth” week, and “Reality Check” week gave nods to not only the former The Amazing Race contestant, but also Jean-Robert Bellande and Nick Schulman. Bellande competed on Survivor, while Schulman was featured on MTV’s World of Jenks. The action built all week and eventually boiled over in an over $100,000 pot between Maria Ho and former WSOP Player of the Year Frank Kassela.
