Poker Twitter Filled with #Positivity as 2019 WSOP is in Full Swing

It seems like everyone has started the World Series on good terms, with less beef on ‘Poker Twitter’ than there was at Daniel Negreanu and Amanda Leatherman’s wedding. Maybe that’ll change in seven weeks time, but it’s hard not to smile when you see others so happy, and Day #2 of the 50^th annual WSOP has continued in that vein.

HELLMUTH ON THE MIC

With a lot of players in town early, the Gavin Smith Memorial Tournament was one such occasion where the goodness of poker players’ generosity was alighted upon, with 150time WSOP bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth even providing ‘MC’ duties for the fundraiser for Gavin’s children.

EVEN THE BEST SEEK ADVICE

Having survived Day 1 of Event #4, the $1,500 Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better tournament, legendary vlogger and player Jason Somerville was happy with his progress, but not too proud to reach out to Benjamin Spragg for assistance in making it further.
