The Super High Roller Bowl: $100k Pot-Limit Omaha presented by Vision GTO Trainer concluded at the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas, Nevada, with Seth Davies winning $1,500,000 in prize money and claiming his second Super High Roller Bowl win of 2024 and his third PGT title of the season.
This victory was the second-largest career score for Davies, trailing his $3,206,000 in prize money for winning Super High Roller Boxl IX in August of this year. Davies now has amassed more than $31,838,000 in lifetime tournament earnings, and according to The Hendon Mob, he now sits 23rd on the All-Time Money List, having climbed over Paul Phua and Daniel Dvoress.
The 42-entrant field in Super High Roller Bowl: $100k Pot-Limit Omaha resumed on Saturday, October 26, with the final five players all in the money and guaranteed $330,000 in prize money. Defending champion Jared Bleznick held the chip lead and was looking to become the first-ever back-to-back champion in Super High Roller Bowl history.
Josh Arieh was the first elimination when he was all-in with bottom pair on the flop against the superior pair and multiple draws of Sean Winter. Winter improved to two pair on the river and Arieh exited in fifth place for $330,000. Bleznick and Winter began to surge ahead of the pack before a misstep from Davies saw him drop to just two big blinds. Multiple pots began heading Davies' way as he soon found himself back in contention.
A cold run for Bleznick followed as he was firstly picked off by Winter before doubling Artem Maksimov when his two pair, flush and straight draw, bricked against Maksimov's straight. Bleznick was eliminated in fourth place when he was all-in with top pair against the set of Davies. Bleznick picked up flush and straight on the turn, but those failed to realize as the field was now down to three.
Davies began to pick up steam and would eliminate Winter next when he was all-in on the river with a full house, but Davies tabled quad tens to enter heads-up play with Maksimov holding a better than two-to-one advantage.
Maksimov began heads-up play by closing the gap on Davies, but a flopped set for Davies pushed him out to a better than three-to-one lead. The final hand would play out with Maksimov all-in on the flop with ace-high against Davie's second pair. The board bricked out and Maksimov was eliminated in second place for $900,000 in prize money which more than doubled his career earnings.
With this victory, Davies became a two-time Super High Roller Bowl champion, joining Justin Bonomo, Isaac Haxton, and Timothy Adams. Davies also joins Bonomo and Adams as having won two Super High Roller Bowl titles in the same year.
