Super High Roller Bowl Replays on PokerGO

Registration for the 2018 Super High Roller Bowl opened during last week’s ARIA High Roller Series and that means the countdown to the year’s most exclusive event is officially underway. While the poker world is still wondering who will be competing in the $300,000 buy-in come May 27, the nearly three-month window between registration opening and when the cards get in the air will give Poker Central plenty of time to preview and highlight the Super High Roller Bowl.

The first-ever Super High Roller Bowl was held in 2015 and boasted a massive $500,000 buy-in. The 2016 edition of the Super High Roller Bowl featured a lower $300,000 buy-in, but the field was still stacked. U.S. Poker Open Champion Stephen Chidwick made his debut, along with Phil Laak, Bill Perkins, and Haralabos Voulgaris. Phil Hellmuth also made his first SHRBowl appearance and “The Poker Brat” was the star of the show, as he made the final table. The 14-time bracelet winner was joined by some of the world’s best High Rollers, including Germany’s Fedor Holz and Rainer Kempe, along with Bryn Kenney and Erik Seidel. Last year’s Super High Roller Bowl was truly star-studded. Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, Fedor Holz, David Peters, and more returned for the biggest event of the year, but the real star power came with Kevin Hart’s addition to the field. The world renowned actor and comedian dominated the feature table for the first two days of play, before he was eventually eliminated by 2015 champion Brian Rast. The final table featured Germany’s Christoph Vogelsang and Stefan Schillhabel, as well as Jake Schindler, Jason Koon, Justin Bonomo, and former GPI Player of the Year Byron Kaverman.
