The 2017 Super High Roller Bowl is still over four months away but the poker world will get their first glimpse at who will be competing in the year’s biggest tournament tomorrow, February 2nd. The ARIA will begin accepting deposits for the $300,000 buy-in event and registration will remain open until the 50 player cap is met.
Last year, the Super High Roller Bowl hit capacity in under two weeks but with 15 seats reserved by ARIA for non-professionals, we imagine that the 35 remaining seats will be bought up sooner, rather than later. Despite the limited seating, the world’s top players are expected to return, including Daniel Negreanu, Antonio Esfandiari, Tom Marchese, Phil Hellmuth, who final tabled last year’s event, and Brian Rast, who won the first ever Super High Roller Bowl in 2015.
The 2017 Super High Roller Bowl projects to have a prize pool of $15 million and a first place prize of $5 million, making it one of the biggest tournaments of the year.
Poker Central will be at the ARIA when registration opens tomorrow, bringing you exclusive access and content from the first wave of Super High Roller Bowl registrants. In the meantime, relive the best moments from last year’s Super High Roller Bowl via the Poker Central YouTube channel.
