While the U.S. Poker Open officially began on Thursday, the real action begins Friday. That’s when the Event #1 final table hits PokerGO, with Justin Bonomo controlling the chip lead. The High Roller has a shot at a historic victory, but there are some other experienced professionals in his way.
Sam Soverel is just off Bonomo’s chip leading pace, along with Boutros Naim. This will be Naim’s first appearance on PokerGO and this U.S. Poker Open score is Naim’s first official result in the United States. The Lebanese player has multiple cashes from Europe and will bring a big stack back for today’s six-handed restart.
Justin Young, Stephen Chidwick, and David Peters round out the lineup and a complete list of the remaining players, their seating assignments, and chip counts is provided below.
The $10,000 High Roller final table will be the first of eight U.S. Poker Open events that will crown winners over the next week and a half. At the end of the series, the player that has cashed for the most combined money will be crowned U.S. Poker Open Champion.
Today’s final table has $190,400 awaiting the eventual champion and the player that claims that title will be in a good spot heading into the rest of the series. A complete list of the remaining Event #1 payouts is provided below:
