Day 7 of the World Series of Poker Main Event is the most exciting day of the poker year. A mammoth field is down to the last step before the final table is reached. Only 27 players remain with a reservation only set for nine in November.

Now available on PokerGO are the penultimate episodes to the 2014 WSOP Main Event. The excitement is breath-taking with big names and larger moments in play with a trip to the most prestigious final table in poker on the line.

Action leads off in the first episode with a flip for literally everything between Jorryt van Hoof and Dan Smith. Both players have the sheer skill level required to make the final table but have the cards decide their tournament fates for them.

Smith’s prowess needs no introduction as he is a familiar face in all ARIA High Roller events. van Hoof is better known as the ‘The Cleaner’ in the online poker world and makes a strong live debut.

The two battle with 20 players left and put a trip to November in the air in one of the tensest moments in Main Event history.

The emotions spill over to another table where amateur Scott Mahin leaves his heart on the felt. Mahin’s elimination leaves him heartbroken and his exit interview with Kara Scott is one to remember.

The Brazilian contingent has their hero in Bruno Politano. One of the most passionate poker fanbases in the world waited years for a Main Event final tablist and Politano is that man. Politano continues to run hot and uses fun aggression to claim chips.

Mark Newhouse is still alive as well. That’s right, the chance for consecutive November Nines is almost there for 2013’s ninth-place finisher. Newhouse runs well on Day 7 and keeps the train moving toward one of poker’s greatest accomplishments.

Day 6 featured plenty of Newhouse and he is the center point of Day 7’s coverage in his attempt for Main Event history.

The foreign flavor of 2014 is capped off by Norway’s Felix Stephensen charging up the leaderboard. His San Diego Chargers hat might not be European but his game is. Stephensen catches a huge break versus Tom Sarra Jr. and keeps the ride moving toward the final table.
