Daniel Negreanu came into the final table of Event #6: $10,100 Pot-Limit Omaha of the 2024 PGT PLO Series II, presented by PLO Mastermind, second in chips but took the chip lead twenty minutes into play and never looked back, defeating Alex Foxen heads up to capture the title and $265,200 first place prize.
Start-of-day chip leader Foxen briefly regained the lead when he eliminated Nacho Barbero in sixth place. His pocket kings flopped a set, sending the Argentinian to the payout desk to collect his $52,000 prize, but from there, it was all Negreanu.

Negreanu regained the chip lead for good when he bluffed Foxen off a chop on a paired board and then solidified it during the next level of play when he eliminated Nick Schulman in fifth place for $67,600 when his turned straight sent Schulman's pocket jacks to the rail.
One hand later, 2024 PGT Overall points leader Jeremy Ausmus found himself all-in with ace high against Negreanu's king high, but a jack on the flop and a jack on the turn gave Negreanu trips, and Ausmus was out the door in fourth place for $93,600.
The fourth-place finish marks Ausmus' twenty-fourth cash of the 2024 PGT season, and he now sits nicely in front of the pack with 2,501 points with just over two months left in the season, putting himself in a prime position to start the 2024 PGT Championship as the chip leader.
Negreanu would continue his onslaught on the next hand as Matthew Wantman was all in from the big blind on the flop with a pair of jacks, only to see Negreanu held queens and sixes. A queen on the turn locked it up for Negreanu, and Event #3 winner Wantman was out the door in third place for $119,600 as Negreanu took a three-to-one chip lead into heads-up play.
The heads-up match didn't last long as Negreanu continued to pour on the pressure and, combined with the deck running in his favor, put away Foxen in a hurry.
The final hand of the day saw both players make a full house, but Negreanu's turned queens full of aces sent Foxen's rivered tens full to the payout desk to collect his $171,600 second-place prize.
The win marks Negreanu's third title of the 2024 PGT season and nineteenth overall cash, as he now sits in second place on the overall leaderboard with 1,998 points thanks to his ninth career PGT title.
