The 2024 PGT PLO Series II presented by PLO Mastermind continued from the PokerGO Studio at ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada with Event #7: $15,100 Pot-Limit Omaha. The tournament drew 64 entries and Gruffudd Pugh-Jones leads the final six players.

The Welsh player held one of the top stacks for the majority of the evening and secured the overnight chip lead in the last couple of levels. Pugh-Jones leads the final table ahead of Nick Schulman, Samuli Sipila, Jeremy Ausmus, Artem Maksimov, and Alex Foxen. These six players will return already guaranteed $52,800, while all eyes will be on the $288,000 first-place prize, 288 PGT points, and the Event #7 trophy.

The field of 64 entrants created a prize pool of $960,000 and the final 10 players earned a piece of it. Billy Tarango was the unfortunate bubble boy when he got his stack in preflop with aces and Schulman turned trip queens. Michael Duek (10th), Richard Gryko (9th), and Elias Harala (8th) all made it into the money but fell short of the final table.

Event #6 winner Daniel Negreanu was looking to go back-to-back but he was eliminated in seventh place after he got his last couple of big blinds in and failed to improve. The six remaining players played a bit longer and then bagged to return for the streamed final table.
