Erik Seidel is now 11th on poker's all-time money list, passing fellow Poker Hall of Famer Phil Ivey with his latest cash on the PokerGO Tour (PGT).
Entering the 2025 PokerGO Cup, Seidel was 12th on poker's all-time money list with $47,182,227 in live tournament earnings. Seidel then cashed in third place in Event #2: $10,000 NL Hold'em at the 2025 PokerGO Cup and won $129,800. That put him $38,464 behind Ivey, who sat with $47,350,490 in winnings. Seidel then went on to reach the final table of Event #7: $15,000 NL Hold'em. Reaching the final table guaranteed Seidel $51,600, and that was good enough to push him ahead of Ivey on the all-time money list.
From there, Seidel went on to finish fourth for $116,100. He went out at the hands of Farid Jattin who cracked Seidel's queens with ace-jack. Seidel now sits with $47,428,127 in career winnings.
This latest PGT cash also pushed Seidel to more than $6,000,000 in career PGT earnings. On the PGT, Seidel has three wins, 11 top-three finishes, and 36 final tables. Seidel's first PGT victory came at the 2022 U.S. Poker Open when he won Event #9: $25,000 NL Hold'em for $472,500. In that event, Seidel notably topped Phil Hellmuth in heads-up play. His second PGT win came in the $50,000 Super High Roller at the 2023 WSOP Paradise series, winning a monstrous $1,704,400 and his 10th WSOP gold bracelet. With the win, Seidel became the fifth player to win a 10th gold bracelet, joining Hellmuth, Ivey, Doyle Brunson, and Johnny Chan. Back at the U.S. Poker Open in 2024, Seidel won the opening event, Event #1: $5,000 NL Hold'em, to win $145,000.
Throughout his career, Seidel has put up impressive numbers. This latest result from the PokerGO Cup gave Seidel his 99th six-figure cash. He also has seven seven-figure cashes.
