Isaac Haxton came into the final table of Event #5: $15,100 Pot-Limit Omaha Progressive Bounty of the 2024 PGT PLO Series II, presented by PLO Mastermind, with nearly sixty percent of the chips in play and made quick work on the final table en route to the $169,740 first place prize plus a whopping $214,000 in bounties.
The only bounty Haxton failed to collect at the final table was sixth-place finisher Bryce Yockey, but it wasn't due to a lack of effort. With a final board reading , Lamb bet 260,000 on the end, and Haxton called, revealing a duece for flopped trips. Lamb tabled queen-duece for a flopped full house, and Yockey's pocket aces headed to the payout desk to collect $36,900 plus $18,000 in bounties.
From there, it was all Haxton as he rivered a full house to send Joni Jouhkaminen's turned nut flush to dust, sending the Finnish Pro out in fifth place for $51,660 as his second final table in as many days was cut short.
The next hand, Joe Serock found himself all in with pocket kings against Haxton's pocket sixes. The flop and turn were safe for Serock, but a four on the river gave Haxton two pair to send the 2024 Main Event Final Tableist out the door in fourth place for $70,110 plus $27,000 in bounties.

The three-handed play started with a bit of a bump for Haxton as Alex Foxen doubled through the chip leader. However, Haxton never let off the gas, eventually whittling down both Foxen and Lamb.
Foxen made his final stand of the tournament when he got all in preflop with pocket kings and looked to be in great shape against Haxton's pocket queens. The deck continued in Haxton's favor as he flopped top set, and Foxen's day, which never really got started, ended right where it began, in third place for $95,940 plus an additional $6,000 in bounties.
Haxton took a five-to-one chip lead into heads-up play against Lamb, and two hands after play began, the tournament was over when Haxton's top pair turned into rivered trips to bust Lamb in second place for $169,740 plus an additional $40,000 in bounties.
The win also gives Haxton his second PGT title of the 2024 season and his eighth total cash, giving him 886 points on the season, moving him into 40th place overall as the 2023 PGT Season Overall Points leader looks to return to the final dance freeroll.
