The 2024 Poker Masters presented by PokerStars NAPT has crowned its newest champion. Jim Collopy topped the leaderboard to win the Poker Masters Purple Jacket, a $25,000 PGT Passport, and the PokerStars Gold Pass for the upcoming NAPT Las Vegas.

Collopy follows in the footsteps of Steffen Sontheimer (2017), Ali Imsirovic (2018), Sam Soverel (2019), Alexandros Kolonias (2020), Eelis Parssinen (2020), Michael Addamo (2021), Sean Winter (2022), and Stephen Chidwick (2023), who were previous Poker Masters champions. Unlike previous conclusions to PGT majors, there would be no final table sweat for the eventual champion as all the players still in contention were eliminated prior to the final table of Event #8.

According to The Hendon Mob, Collopy has amassed more than $9,700,000 in lifetime tournament earnings and now sits 71st on the United States All-Time Money List. At this Poker Masters, Collopy earned $521,600 in prize money and cashed in four consecutive events by reaching the final table on each occasion by finishing in sixth, third, second, and second.

Although Collopy fell short of a victory, he has $3,351,486 in career PGT earnings, which includes 37 cashes, 18 final tables, and 11 podium finishes.

The eighth installment of the Poker Masters was the first PGT series held in the PokerGO Studio following the conclusion of the World Series of Poker. The record-breaking opening event attracted a 131-entrant field and saw two $560 satellite winners heads-up for their first PGT title, where Spencer Champlin emerged victorious.

Jeremy Becker won his first PGT title and claimed his largest career score of $255,000 - trumping his previous best by more than $178,000. After winning his first PGT title at the PokerGO Cup in January, Justin Zaki won his second PGT title when he won Event #3. Jonathan Little won Event #4 and his third PGT event of the season.

David Chen became the youngest-ever PGT title winner in an owned-and-operated event when he won Event #5 eight days shy of his 22nd birthday. Isaac Haxton won his first PGT title of the season and the sixth of his career in the opening $15,100 buy-in event, while Brock Wilson won his second career PGT title after winning his first at the 2021 Poker Masters. The finale to the 2024 Poker Masters would see Ben Tollerene win his second PGT title after he defeated Taylor von Kriegenbergh heads-up.
