The 2024 PGT PLO Series II presented by PLO Mastermind continued on Wednesday from the PokerGO Studio at ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada with Event #3: $5,100 Pot-Limit Omaha. The tournament drew 155 entries and Matthew Wantman leads the final seven players.
Wantman was the short stack with nine players remaining, but he found a rush at the right time with consecutive double-ups to vault up the leaderboard and eventually finish as the chip leader. He leads a final table that includes Eelis Parssinen, Joe Serock, Jonas Kronwitter, Zachary Schwartz, Eran Carmi, and Michael Duek. These seven players will return on Thursday at noon, and they are already guaranteed $31,000. Up top for the winner is the $178,250 first-place prize, 178 PGT points, and the Event #3 trophy.
The field of 155 entrants created a prize pool of $775,000 and the final 23 players earned a piece of it. Maksim Pisarenko just missed out, busting on the money bubble to Duek. Among those who finished in the money were Josh Arieh (22nd), David Coleman (21st), Dylan Weisman (20th), Daniel Negreanu (17th), Sean Winter (13th), and Ronald Keijzer (10th).

The players converged to one table following the elimination of Elias Harala in eighth place. After briefly taking the chip lead with eight players remaining, Harala tumbled down the chip counts after doubling up both Wantman and Schwartz, with Wantman finishing him off shortly thereafter.
