During the Poker Central Live Events on PokerGO, they allow me to grab the microphone and talk to some of the best players in the world. I’ve used this amazing opportunity to talk to the likes of Stephen Chidwick, Jason Koon, Ali Imsirovic, and many others to run through some of their favorite hands and moments from the events, and in the video embedded above you get the hear the thoughts and takes from the 2018 U.S. Poker Open champion on a big hand he played at the PokerGO Studio last month.
The hand in question, ultimately, propelled Chidwick to the win in Event #1 of the 2019 U.S. Poker Open for $216,000. In this hand, Chidwick goes up against Laz Hernandez, who up until that point was one of the main contenders, so watch the video now to find out the thoughts behind the play.
While Chidwick won two events during the 2019 U.S. Poker Open, he ended up falling just short of repeating as the overall champion. The Brit, however, has generated a ton of respect from his peers over the course of his career and if you want to learn more about how his opponents think of him, read the article linked below.
