The PokerStars North American Poker Tour Las Vegas is underway at Resorts World in Las Vegas, and the $25,000 Super High Roller attracted 44 entrants on Day 1. Only 28 players would advance to Day 2, and 2024 WSOP Player of the Year Scott Seiver finished as the chip leader.
The NAPT Las Vegas began on November 1, and the new week marked the start of one of two PGT-qualifying high rollers. The $25,000 Super High Roller began on Monday with 44 entrants taking a seat throughout Day 1, and after eight 60-minute levels of play, only 28 players advanced to Day 2.
Leading the field is defending WSOP Player of the Year Scott Seiver, who built his starting 250,000 chips to 799,000. Seiver leads ahead of Poker Masters Purple Jacket winner Jim Collopy with 729,000. Shannon Shorr is third overall with 663,000, while Clemen Deng is fourth overall with 580,000.
Players still in contention entering Day 2 include Dan Shak, Jason Koon, Brock Wilson, PokerGO Cup champion Jonathan Little, and WSOP Main Event winner Jonathan Tamayo.
Registration remains open until the start of Day 2 on Tuesday, November 5, at 12:30 p.m. PT.
