Kicking things off on the list of baddest beats in 2018, a clash between two of your favorite PokerGO commentators: Jeremy Ausmus and Nick Schulman. While the money only went in on the river, a full house vs full house clash is always painful to watch. This time it happened on “Power Play” week which you can watch in full right here.

Next up, a brutal runner-runner during the 2018 Poker Masters! Brandon Adams, better known these days as Lieutenant Lavender, gets it in with a mere top pair versus the incredibly strong set held by Jared Jaffee. While 2018 will always be remembered as ‘The Year of Bonomo,’ it’s easy to forget that he also had his share of lucky moments on his way to winning millions of dollars. During the 2018 Super High Roller Bowl, Bonomo did just that crushing the hopes of Christoph Vogelsang who had his eyes set on back-to-back titles. The second best bad beat of the year was an epic clash between famed Hollywood actors Jennifer Tilly and Don Cheadle and Antonio Esfandiari. With more than $200,000 in the middle, top set, top two pair and a double gutshot met on the flop to create an epic showdown that ended with a brutal bad beat. But even though Tilly sat through a really painful one, the worst hand of the year took place on the World Series of Poker Main Event final table bubble with 10 players remaining.
